honestly i dont like this , on this event we have the problem that the "good" multis needs alot lvl for automate -- the last 2 building need both a lvl 5 but .. and to get this cards as a normal player it will need along time .. because after you unlocked all buildings and got the costumer bonuses there wont be many card drops .. so players who dont play with autocllicker or dont want to klick wont automate this fast .. lvl 5 is bid to high because you unlock the building late (last buidling is unlocked on 50% done from the event ..

so i dont like the fact that i see a deal like that , it makes the event instant done if you grab it

Yup, i'm at Don 7 with enough cards for half an upgrade and 2K booze. Other businesses have enough customers to the point i'm not getting cards from them anymore. Whether I complete the event or not comes down to whether he shows up in the store again so I can buy cards with booze. If he does, can possibly beat it. If he doesn't, i'm out of luck.

To the devs: Checking in on an idle game every 2 hours to see if a particular character is showing up in the store so we can buy cards is not exactly exciting gameplay. This game is gated behind cards and booze far too much. Generally in idle games time and strategy are the important factors, not RNG.

Lately this game feels like a slot machine in a casino, but I can only play it every 2 hours, and only if I have the proper tokens (which are also only available every few hours). I don't mind the waiting, as long as I can actually DO something when I play again. Far too often I open this game after waiting hours, check the store or trunks and nope, gotta wait another few hours to actually do something that will help progression.

RNG is not being nice to me. I am 7 Don cards away from automating Honey Oil and I can not get his cards. They do not come up in the store and none in trades either.

I haven't used a single hashcoin for anything event-related. I have used an autoclicker until I automated Honey oil.
That said, I am on track to complete the event currently. I have opened just about every 8h trunk, and a lot of the 2h trunks. Have had a very broken sleep schedule so a lot of 2h trunks I'd otherwise miss have been acquired during this event
I have bought a bunch of don/honey oil cards from the shop; basically zeroing my event currency each time either appeared. If both I prioritized Don over the business.

Currently at 600/999.99 U with an income of approximately 47U (using the "skip 1h" to get a number)
Which means I will complete it with about 40hours to spare, which will likely let me gather up the 4000 currency to get 1000 liquor.

I have, however, been extremely active. The game client has likely been running for 24/7 since event started, and I actively tab out of any other game I'm playing to complete trade deals as they show. This is accomplished by keeping trailer park on an secondary screen so I can see the deal show up more easily.

If I had not gotten the cards in the shop I would not have been able to complete the event, that much I can guarentee. But as it stands I will be able to complete it with time to spare - and this is without using any hashcoins. Given my very high activity time it was just a matter of time before I got the correct cards in the shop though.
I was a bit worried for the last 2-3 steps, but I got enough to upgrade both don and the business and combined with the natural customer multipliers it ended up working

Previous event was a LOT easier though. The trade deals were better that time around (as I recall, it was trade 3 cards => 5 cards? like you give them 3 and get 5 in return. every deal was a good deal then) and liq. convertion rates was a lot better for some. Especially the boys cards to liquor

Anyways, keep at it! once you hit 2000 and then 2050 customers to Honey Oil you will get a speed boos that is not insignificant. Final "real" boost is had at 2300 and then you'll mostly push forwards with card upgrades.

I can not say for certain. I did have issues getting Roc Pile automated (I still have not. I got him to 4 and then autoclicked during sleep and got honey oil unlocked)

I will complete it with 45 or so hours to spare though, so I suspect I would be able to complete it even without an autoclicker. I have been VERY active during the event though which shouldn't really be an requirement for any idle game (active players should usually stay ahead, but not be the standard for balancing purposes)
Also, it should say I have NOT used a single hashcoin. edited main post to reflect this; sorry!

But TL;DR for the question: I can not say for sure, but I suspect I would have been able to.
With lower activity time? then I am really doubtful that I would have made it (checking store, trade deals and 2h trunks is the main part of activity)

Interesting, I got Roc Vodka, but I ignored Roc Cellular completely (except for customer upgrades to get cards and booze). I did stupidly buy an event trunk with hashcoins I got from the last event, but it was totally useless like it was last event. I'm never buying another trunk again, in events or out lol. I got some cards for the boys, a couple businesses and some booze. No Don. Frankly lahey's trunk seems more consistently useful in this game than the one costing hashcoins, which is absurd. Cost/benefit doesn't even compare.

I just got enough cards for Don 8 (from the store), just waiting on a trunk or two for the booze to upgrade. I'm still at 2562 Oil customers, but that should change quickly as soon as I can do the Don upgrade. Quite possible I will finish, but this one has been a grind compared to the last event.

Lol that makes more sense, no problem. I didn't want to spend the booze on upgrading Rascal since I knew I wasn't going to automate him (too expensive). I think I got a little lucky with Don in the store, he showed up pretty often, it was more a matter of how much booze I had.

Regret is definitely the word i'd use for my experiences with hashcoin trunks lol, though you're right, it's about the only thing in the store i'd buy with them.

Finally got enough cards for Oil 5, upgraded that instead of the boys. I should be done in about 8hrs (117U per hour), currently 40 hours left to collect the 4k booze. Took a lot of active play (no I don't mean clicking on the buildings), but doable with no cash spent and no autoclicker.

Just gonna post it for... the sake of posting it mostly
successfully did last step about 15h ago, and since about 5h before that started saving event currency
Currently at 3750/4000 for maximum liq. bonus and about 30h remaining of the event.
Used autoclicker for early steps until honey oil got automated
VERY actively searched for shop deals and buying all don or honey oil cards when they showed
almost every 8h trunk opened in a timely fashion, very many 2h trunks opened
did a lot of trade deals as well.
Final state of upgrades: 2650 Customers, level 7 Don, level 5 business. Boys at 5-4-4

In the end I'm in line for having full success on the event; and I can't say for sure but I am pretty certain I'd be comfortably completing it even without autoclicker during sleepytime for Roc Pile/Honey Oil until automation.
Lowering my active store/trade check-in times would likely make it a lot more uncertain, definitely would be a lot harder to have gotten the 4000=> 1000 bonus

But: in comparison to this the old event took about 2 days total to complete (with very low autoclicker useage) and a lot lower active time overall.

I am likely not going to make it. Going at 65.77S - unless the 2550->2600 is a big change for Oil there won't be enough time. Because I've had to compensate for the lack of Oil/Don cards by buying overpriced Bubbles/Ricky/Julian, I'm also very low on F35 so it'll be tough to make the bonus unless I obsessively check in
