Update on Event Start Times
Hey Mawfks,

We know the past month has been a bit of a mess when it comes to event starts. We know it, we own it, and we plan to fix it. Here's what we're going to do:

Going forward, events will now start at 5PM Pacific Time on Thursdays (start three hours later) and end after the same amount of time as they did before (end three hours later). This allows us to better accomodate all of our players so that if something goes wrong, it doesn't impact the Steam start time. We want to do right by you and this is the solution our team came up with yesterday at the end of the day after another late event.

We want to remain consistent and reliable for you folks, and we know that a moving target for event start is not fun in any way, hence these changes going forward. We'll be pushing to keep consistent, and ensure that Steam players get the best experience possible regardless of what we're juggling on the development side of things.

Again, we're sorry for the inconsistency, and we hope we can do better by you all :)

Stay Greasy

TL:DR

We get more money from mobiles, so if you want to play the event with the rest of the cool guys don't do it on steam

Thank you for owning up to this, something seemingly fewer and fewer developers are doing these days.

Edit: And then the NEW start time came and left.

As long as they pay that every time.
Which means they owe us for a couple of events and the one that should have started 25 minutes ago.

Event does not start until 5PM PST (west coast) or 8PM EST (east coast).

I guess 8PM is the new standard start time for events.

Yes and that is also what I was writing.
5PM EST = 11 PM CET and I wrote my post at 11.25PM CET so I am not in the wrong, the event started yet again late.

Sorry but 5PM Pacific Standar Time (PST) = 2AM Central European Time (CET).

It seems like this is still an issue; send me a DM if you wouldn't mind if I poke around in your business a little bit and help with CI and automated testing.
