Language problem
Hello I have problem, beacuse my game starts in germany and I want it to start in english? I'm mac player

rightclick on the game in steam, properties, language, change to English.

It is set to English, and it is still playing in German

Restart steam. Is everything in German?

Yes everything is in German, I will try to re download the game and restart steam. Luckly I just bought this game so in case of langauge problem i can refund it

Language usually resets on deinstall

What you can try is change to another language, like French, restart game, then go back to English. If French is French, English is German,try German

Ok, good luck. If nothing works, contact their support per email, they are really quick on it, like mostly same day, but the working hours today are over here, so they may contact you tomorrow

Contacting our support at support@world-of-emergency.com is always a good idea for issues!

In the case of the Mac version you can also try the following:

- Make sure English is one of the languages of the operating system here: Apple Menu - System Preferences - Language and Region

- If Steam still refuses to give you the English version you can edit the settings by hand: Click "user data" (or "Benutzerdaten") in the launcher - open "emergency_5_settings.json" with a text editor (we recommend making a backup first!) and set the language with this line:

"Language": "en",

Please make sure that you do not accidentally modify anything but the variable. The "en" stands for English, so in your case it will probably be set to "de" for German.
