What are the best Artifacts?

So, I'm approaching the Artifact limit, and I'm interested in knowing what the best abilities that Artifacts can have are.

Is it worth discarding all the lower level Artifacts, or is there a use in keeping them?

I think the ones I generally look for the most are ones that contain block fortune and impatient lockpicker. Lucky socks are good too. I'd say that artifacts that contain sticky fingers would be a high priority, but have yet to get any with that ability, so I don't know if it's possible to get artifacts with sticky fingers at all. Beyond that, anything else is a bonus.

I've been trashing the artifacts that don't contain abilities that I consider to be a high priority since you can only equip a small number of them at once, and use the green dust to upgrade artifacts that do contain the abilities that I want the most. Unfortunately, upgrading them is very random and it doesn't even seem likely that it will give me more bonus points in the abilities that I want, but I guess everything helps in some way.

All that being said, this may not be the best advice on what to do, but it's just what I've been doing. There doesn't seem to be any guide available on artifacts, and I've just been flailing around in the dark as it were.

Yes, there isn't much documentation available out there for the best Artifacts.

Thank you for your advice though, I will keep in mind which skill tree abilities to look for.
