So ender pearls?

Since i am at my first prestige what should i spend pearls on first the ender chests or save them up for later?

If you transcend the player skill tree, you can get more levels of certain skills that can help for the event like sticky fingers, but things like lucky socks and block fortune will help you advance more in general.

If you go with the chests then you just have a random chance to get a couple of abilities and several pickaxes. The main pickaxe I want from the ender chest is eye of ender. I've bought several of the chests and haven't gotten it yet, but I still think it's better to do that than spend the 25 pearls to buy the eye of ender directly, because you should get it eventually from the chest, and you'll also have all the other goodies from the chests too and it's a better deal overall.

Ah so basically the chests only have one pickaxe guaranteed to get once and one ability that can only be found in the ender chest. Considering 25 ender pearls for an pickaxe sounds worse in the long run when spending three pearls on the chest guaranteeds getting several pickaxes.

Yes, it would take about 9 prestiges to save up enough to buy eye of ender for 25 pearls. If you just buy 9 ender chests, there's a fair chance of getthing that pickaxe, plus the other pickaxes and abilities available too. I've bought five chests and have gotten three pickaxes and both of the available abilities. I only have two more pickaxes I need from the ender chests. Hopefully I'll get them both on the next two prestiges, but I bet you can probably get the abilities more than once to level them up, so I might not. Either way 25 pearls for one pickaxe is a waste.

Well i wish you luck but your advice made me decide to go with the ender chests since i'm almost done maxing out the player tree all that left is one more point in sticky fingers then maxing out pickaxe fuel, since i went with maxing out pickaxe lighter first. Though after that i may as well work on the chest tree just to increase the chances of getting extra stuff from the free chests.

Transcending your Tree is the best what you can do (Personal opinion). You are able to upgrade your Block Fortune, Luck, Sticky Fingers etc really high and it helps the process.

Hmm i will do that as well considering noticing the prices increase drastically each transcend. Though i noticied at higher prestieges it becomes a problem when increasing pps damage which right where i am at is not bad since i did spread 10 points into each tree then finished the remaining into player tree since the chest and idle helped speed things up.

Though i have another question what is the maximum of times you can transcend a tree considering there's got to be a point when you want to work on the other skill trees considering their user especially the chest tree.

I'm not sure if there's a limit. But you can go really high. Everytime you transcend, the price will go higher. At the moment, I need to pay 10 Ender Pearls for "Transcend Player Tree".

Speaking of limits, is the add ability/artifact slot a one time purchase, or can those be bought multiple times too?

Is there a way to get more ender pearls per transcend? Game is getting really grindy after 5 resets. Seems like I am at a chest purchase wall as I am not getting the teleport skill and most of the remaining achievements are locked behing paid chests.
