Pink prismarine shards?

Anybody know wtf is up with the pink prismarine shards in the ocean biome? ive spent like maybe 5 hours in the ocean biome and i havent gotten a single one

You need a ocean related pickaxe to get them (coral pickaxe?), then several spawn when you hit often enough.

I think he means the starfish pieces. Starfish are a random mob that fly across the screen in the ocean biome and drop the shards when killed.

What is pink Prismarine never saw one even with the mob ? you mean coral ?

Open the next biome and you can create it.

Thanks I've just unlocked the biome and was wondering what that is.
