cant get flax seed

I cant get any flax seeds because when you farm tehm, they drop one seed, and it takes one seed to plant them. so you will never gain any seeds via farming

Been doing that as well. still is hard to find enough for making the laq planks

I've played like 4-5 starts and planted flax with the seeds I get from wild flax. That and once you manage to plant enough flax, the chances of you getting a seed with the research is ridiculously high, so much so you'd have enough seeds to start making your flax oils. It's a slow start, but hang in there.
