2) Hunters and farmer will ring you enough meat and pumpkins to feed your people on start.
3) research ASAP making ropes, thread using wool. Build bench and craft some thread using wool (you will have some after killing sheeps)
4) Roast your raw meat as much as you can, just don't kill all animals on the map (if you will have to - it's OK. New animals will spawn) to open new research - taming cows.
5) Bingo! Now you can forget about food problems:
Just go and tame 1 young ( 4-10 y.o.) bull using rope and bring him close to your base. Now tame and bring set near this bull some (5-6) young cows. If you see pergant cows any age - take it as priority (they have cross sign over it). Now bring one more young bull and give hime more cows.
Repeat.
Now when you will have about 4-6 bulls and about 15-20 cows - stop and forget about food problem. Just set 1-2 villagers to be a cattleman. Those cows will constantly bring you milk, meat and hides.
Now go research taming sheeps and you will get wool access too.
Now you have time to develope and research farming, if you want. Pumpkins are good food too....But I prefer cows =)
Now the REAL problem is - making bronze, iron and castle walls. THIS is my reall headache!
Thats help me so much! I didn´t know this and try to keep some animals for later. So i don´t need it anymore ;)
