Too far away

When ever i launch the game i get put too far away to do anything, i dont know if this is a problem with my headset or the game, if its the game what can i do to fix this?

I had to reset my surroundings in the SteamVR start up app, and I also had to just reset my position via the steamVR menu in-game.
