nightmare fredbear still kills me through closed closet

as i said, everytime he is in closet, closing it doesn't work.
I still see his stupid red eyes and i can't close them any further than swiping my hand to the other side of the closet. flashing the closet gets me killed too. what the hell...

I've given up on Fredbear because I don't know his pattern.

its not even about pattern, all anyone says is close the closet but i can still see his eyes in the gaps of the closet and after 5 seconds he kills me. he is just a cheater at this point.

This has been a glitch since they added non VR. For some reason if Nightmare Fredbear spawns in the closet your screwed. The only method i have found that works is to stay at the closet and keep it closed until you hear footsteps down one of the hallways.

Once you hear his footsteps go to the hallway you heard them and look down the hall to see if you can see his red glowing eyes. Don't use your flashlight down the hall cause if you flash him he will teleport to the door if you take your light off of him for a second or if you keep your light on him he will begin to move much faster towards the door. Just keep the door closed for 3-5 seconds depending on how far down the hall he was.

After that open the door and if you dont see red eyes run back to the closet and keep it closed and repeat. If you hear Fredbear Laugh during the night that means hes either appeared in the closet or his Head is on your bed and you have to flash it with the flashlight.

i miraculously got through it without a closet spawn but i was close to losing it. finally beat every level plus DLC and got the secret ending along with the Mask + plush dialogue.
can't wait to see what scott has in store next
