No sound?
Is anyone else getting no sound when they play the game? I'm using HTC vive and dont hear anything when trying to play, the only time I do hear anything is when I am shutting down the vr system

I get this issue as well roughly half the time I launch the game. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I can't figure out what's causing it.

Happened to me as well, but the audio came back when clicking the FNAF window mirrored on the PC display (returned focus to the game window).

Ditto on this issue. I run FNaFLore.com. We set up a livestream at 9PM GMT, and ran into this issue. Spent 20 minutes trying to fix it in realtime. A fix would really be appreciated. Just let the audio play when the window isn't in focus, that's fix enough as-is. Is that not possible?

BREAKTHROUGH

I think it's a quick fix, but change the position of your VR screen to the LEFT of your main screen.
Go to "Screen Resolution", and ensure the VR screen is to the LEFT of the main one. I have had mixed success.

how do you make the mirrored window, and what did you do from there

go to settings, system, display, and there should be a setting that should have choices of Only show 1, only show 2, extend, and mirror. What i did was hit mirror (or something like that) and Fnaf vr showed up, i maximized it and clicked on that, then the compositor and it worked.

Just make sure the game window (on the desktop) is active. Click on it, or alt-tab to it. The audio gets muted automatically when it is not the active window.

My audio is muted when I'm in-game, but when I hit the Oculus menu button, it plays in the background, but then when I come back into the game, it turns off again. Pretty lame.

This happens to me when the wrong audio device is being used (Realtek instead of Oculus.) I just click the audio icon in Windows and choose my headset as the playback device.

It's been a little finicky lately, so sometimes I have to exit Oculus first or it won't work.
