Can't Beat Funtime Foxy Normal Mode

I don't know if it's a bug or something, but I always seem to get killed by him, despite not being anywhere near her. I don't know what I'm doing wrong as when I flash the light and he's in front of me, I try to walk in a different direction, but still end up being killed by her.

Is anyone else having this problem, if not, what am I doing wrong?

i think you're supposed to get up close to Funtime Foxy whilst heading to the exit i hope that helped

Although I watched a guide by DJ Sterf, and he says to go in the direction where funtime foxy isn't and he managed to do it.

All I did was took 6 - 8 steps forward, then flashed my light. I'd find where Foxy was, then walk at an angle opposite to them. Just rinse and repeat. This game is very rhythm based in a sense, if you stick to a specific rhythm of so many steps then a flash, you won't get caught.

I fully explored the room doing this, finding the extra stuff in there too. Never died once. It's honestly one of the easiest mini-games to complete in my opinion, so hopefully what I did will help you as well.

you're probably flashing the beacon too often, if you flash it too much you'll die

I managed to beat it it, I think it was because I was flashing the beacon too often which got me killed, so I changed my strat and flashed every 8 or so steps and it worked wonders. Thanks for all the help!

if funtime foxy gets too close, you should take a few step backwards, flash to see if it's still right in front of you, and if not go forward again.
i think that's a working solution but not 100% sure.

first take 3 steps then use flash beacon and then take 5 step and use flash beacon and keep repeating that ...idk if it will work out for you but it worked for me
