FNaF VR Not Installing

Ever since i bought the dlc in october, i can no longer update the game and/or reinstall it. halfway to 3/4 through the download it compeletely resets all my usb hubs and has been giving me a disk write error. I have tried installing to all of my harddrives and solid state, but it keeps stopping. It is only with this game, ive had no issues with any other games.
(ive checked my drives for errors, defragged them and optimized them, reinstalled steam, tried a different computer even)

did you try sticking it in rice
Check your connection status with your wifi router, even if you're using a LAN cable. Also check your file integrity through steam. If that doesn't work I would use cmd prompt to scan for any unknown files that are lurking, or check to make sure you have enough storage for it.
