Tips for Nightmarionne?

I'll b the first to admit I never beat FNaF 4. As such, I never experienced the mechanics of Nightmare and Nightmare Fredbear. I've seen let's plays, of course, but I didn't really grasp it. So how do I deal with Nightmarrione? It seems that if I keep the door open, he scares me, but if I close it, he scares me. As you can tell, this is quite the dilemma. Do I hold my light on him? Do I look away? Please help!

For nightmarrione, you have to go from door to door looking out for him. Do not flash your light at the door, or you die if he is there. You know if he is there if you see white eyes in the darkness. If you see them, close the door. While it’s closed, look around the room with your flashlight to move the tentacles away. After they are gone, check the door again to see if he is there. If he is, keep closing the door, if not, go to the other door. Then repeat. I hope this helps!
