How do you defeat Glitchtrap

I have tried to defeat glitchtrap when hes posessing me multiple times (probably like 25) and I cant get him!!! Any tips?

Gonna put this answer into spoiler text, since this is super endgame stuff.

Take a look at the main area where you select which minigame you want to play. There should be a button attached to the left side of the minigame monitor. This is the button you need to press to "reset" the game.

All you need to do is follow the final tape's instructions. When the glitch extends its hand and begins to possess you, you need to press that button. Do it too soon, the scenario will reset and the glitch might retreat temporarily. Do it too late, and...well...you die.

EDIT: It seems I'm either misremembering or was messing around with random buttons the last time I tried this, because I missed some steps. Matthew's post below me is probably the correct method.

Are you talking about the ending ?
If so then you flip the switch to the red and press the button on the side of the monitar
