I did not think gnomes counted to upgrade castle.
Works about 70% of the time, as sometimes the dragons will focus on the priestess instead and kill them.
- lvl up Wizard guild and use spells + active towers
- rush dwarves and use ballista towers
- paladins are viable but you have to be quick and flexible with backup which must be 8+ agrela minimum
- Krolm + elven gold bonus for krolm spam
- guardhouses + helia
Obviously these are just basic ideas that won't work without a solid overall economic strategy (the core of any game). My favourite random game modifiers are "Super Lairs" + "Respawning Lairs" or "Evil Everywhere" + "Goblin Rush" or "Goblin Rush" + "Cannon Fodder" obviously with Expert map and settings and starting with only a level 1 palace. Those games can sometimes be hard to get a foothold but eventually you end up with the most epic kingdom imagineable.
