Ty so much EVWeb. And ty Aidinthel.. Maybe we should add this to that Majesty Wiki? Its pretty bare bones but alot of people would love to this under stats page or something. I wouldn't mind editing it but Im afraid ill mess something up
Also I always knew about the Intelligence thing affecting behavior only because I read a long time ago to get WoD to be slightly less stupid you needed a bazillion librariries to increase their INT at spawn.
Sad to see ART not have any real benefits, that makes Rogues pretty trash except as fodder to get to level 2 Palace.
I am trying to think of all the good heroes who have STR or INT as their main stat and it makes sense for them.
So even though its INT for Paladin they would really do better with STR.
Adepts I think go with STR
Solarii STR?
Warriors STR
Rangers are surprisingly STR which should make them powerhouses later
WoD are not STR when they should at least be with as dumb as they are.
I feel like im missing a few others.
Similarly, when a hero is deciding whether to poison their weapon at a rogue's guild, their artifice is a factor in how far away they are willing to travel to do it (higher artifice = travel longer distance).
For tournaments, the stats of heroes determine if they are able to participate. A hero needs a high ranged stat in order to participate in a ranged tourney, high hand-to-hand to participate in a melee tourney, and high intelligence to participate in a magic tourney (this is why you sometimes get non-spell casters that will join a magic tourney). Technically, "high" is kind of not true since it's a random dice roll to determine if they can get in, but having a higher stat makes it more likely (example below is for ranged tourney):
I guess this makes a case for building multiple blacksmiths spread around the map, eh?
Not multiple blacksmiths but rather massive amounts of Libraries before you ever recruit WoDs so that they get extra INT on spawn and have a better CHANcE at trying to buy stuff lol
