4K UHD 2160 x 3840 Resolution Support?

Does this game Majesty Gold HD in beta 2 support 4k UHD resolution?

Can anyone chime in on this topic?

Confirmed: It doesn't work (using beta2, 4K monitor). It has resolution options up to 3840 x 2160, so it's not broken or anything; but the internal play area is basically a smaller rectangle (doesn't extend to the edges of the screen) with a huge Majesty-esque background surrounding it. In other words, there's no play benefit over a 1900x1200 monitor.

Considering I just got a 4K monitor, I'd love to have full graphic support there. :-)

Yeah unfortunately I just confirmed this.

It creates a 1920 x 1080 box in the centre if you try to use a 3840 x 2160 (4k) resolution for your screen.

I know Majesty 2 can be played in 4k and it covers the whole screen not leaving any gaps or black space around the center.

Hopefully maybe some mod or beta can fix this and we can get nice big 4k full screen majesty gold hd gaming some time soon.

this in 4k would look horrible unless someone is going to do high res graphics for this game.

Not necessarily but I get what you mean.

I just want to see more of my kingdom say on a 75" 4K TV screen.

Kind of like a cool live wallpaper.

I dream about automated RTS and city building games that I can just put on a large screen high res tv and just eat some food or just chill in bed while I watch it do it's own thing.

Like a randomly generated story or movie or battle basically fully with unit spawning, RPG elements, base building, creature generation, random events and overall just a living breathing masterpiece all happening with out human input or maybe very minimal human input.

Like watching people play rimworld-like games but this would all be computer artificial intelligence.

Pretty cool idea huh I want to make it.
