Mouse sensitivity?
Just loaded game up for the very first time. I am at the main menu. My mouse barely moves. I have to drag it off the pad to get half way across the screen if that.

So no big deal. Sometimes game just needs a minor adjustment. So I go into settings. And no mouse sensitivity adjustment or scrolling speed. Usually you would find mouse settings and scrolling speeds in either game or control area. Did not find them.

Am I looking in the wrong place. Is it labeled something different. Because as of right now this game is not ok for me. I will not play a game where it takes forever to move a mouse around a screen. That is ridiculous.

Someone please help.

Thanks,

chris

I had set aside today to dive into this game. Now I guess I will play something else and await an answer. As is, it is unplayable for me at the moment.

Hi Chris, mouse sensitivity cant be adjusted at the moment BUT as far as I know it will be possible in the update that will hit in two weeks. Until then you will either have to adjust your over-all mouse sensitivity or I am afraid you can not play the game for now :(

Guess I will have to wait. Thanks for the response.

I too have the same problem with slow movement on opening screen but also a wierd problem in manual mode where it seems my high dpi mouse settings make the cross hair unalign with center forward. I.e. if I move mouse to the right it tries to move at my high dpi speed but the ship can't move as fast as the cross hair so by the time the ship finishes the turn the cross hair is up against the far right wall and the ship is looking forward. It sucks for missiles but the turret an laser seem to shoot through the ship at the reticle so I guess there's that 8)

This is normal for space games and has to do with the ships turning speed. It would not be right if the ship just turned 180° in less than a second.

The option to change mouse sensitivity is available now but when you choose it, it reverts back to 50 all the time. need to be able to save that change

I don't see a mouse sensitivity per say, but in the General tab of the Options menu, you have some options to change the Flight settings:

Lock crosshair - it basically means that the crosshair will follow your mouse like in a FPS game. Changing the Ship movement sensitivity does change the speed at which the ship turns. I found the Flight assist weir so i recommend turning it all the way down to 0.

Free crosshair - the ship will follow your mouse like in Elite dangerous or the X games for example. That means, if you keep the cursor on the edge, the ship will keep turning, without the need to take your mouse from the pad and repeat it's movements.

The second option is really much quicker in terms of turning the ship and that's what i recommend to use if you find moving your mouse too much even with 100% Ship movement sensitivity, while using Locked crosshair.

Hope it helps a bit. Happy hunting.

FOUND FIX!! Go to settings and in the video tab you find the RESOLUTION SCALE... Mine was at 75... changed it to 50 and the mouse moved just fine... then changed it to 25 mouse moves just fine... If you move it to 100 it gets bad again.

CHANGE RESOLUTION SCALE TO 50 or 25......
