I actually once had a bug where I went into the in-between speed of warp- and normal travel, so I decided to try it out. It took me about 10-15 minutes to get to the sun, and that speed is a LOT faster than normal travel.
Once again: Its more likely, not guaranteed. It can still be a bug. Just saying.
Anyway, I tried the same thing with another character and the distance did indeed decrease as it should. I probably should have reloaded, or tried a different character before posting.
Thanks for you reply.
You lose your settet target when switch modes auto to manuel. Because when you're in manuel mode you can't set a distanced target ,can only lock enemy ships.
I went into my first wormhole the other day and wasn't sure what to do when I entered after making the ship clone (which looked different to my current ship but that's another issue perhaps). I flew towards the large swirling wormhole looking thing but never got any closer to it after a good distance so gave up and presumed it was just a background image and not a target. (there were no enemies in there either so it was a bit of an anti-climax)
The strange thing is when I then headed back towards the clone object/wormhole exit, the distance reading to them, that I had been watching while moving away from them, jumped to way lower than it should have been for so e reason, I.E. 70k to 20k - not true figures but close enough.
Your efforts on this game are greatly appreciated! There is only so much you can do as a 1 game dev. I'm enjoying your efforts!!!!
But, according to the developer, it would take us hours to do this manually anyway. So again, why punish us for *trying* to make extra money? It's that or just throw the items/money away.
A "Weight to value ratio" filter would certainly help there.
Though overall with the way the economy shakes out, "Why does this missile launcher weigh 110 pounds!?" issues are nothing compared to the fact generic scrap bits, or even an entire asteroid field worth of ore, are not as expensive as what they charge you for a single common white tier gun.
So just shrugging and throwing out anything that isn't guns or modules becomes your new sorting mentality.
I hear yah on slot limitations pain, though. Even if you had infinity carry weight, you have problems like anomolies not stacking, far too many crafting materials just for the sake of them making even Tier 1 consumables or crates full of food as involved as what would normally be endgame crafting (So I need rare asteroid dust to make this t1 wire, which can't even drop until I train for special mining skills, what the ♥♥♥♥?), etc.
Either way. the value of generic ores and scrap needs to be increased to be worth it long term. This game is kind enough to scale experience gains for mining after all so one asteroid seems to always remain roughly the value of one kill.
Because trying to pay a new gun if drop RNG isn't giving you what you need (Oh boy I'm level 28!... still only have a level 23 gun tops from drops). quickly costs more than buying a brand new ship. and you sure as hell are not going to earn that with mining in any sane time frame past level 10 tops.
Hi,
but HOW?
Maybe I'm dumb or blind or both...
I tried LMB => drag and drop (into space) => didn't work
I tried RMB => nothing happens
I don't see any key in the settings which might be useful?
I cannot get rid off my 7 units too much.
Maybe the game could suggest to discard items in order to be able to warp?!
Hope somebody has a suggestion soon.
Rummaging through the depth of galactic network to find an answer...
Hi again,
I am trying this game the first time today, so I'm somewhat new to it.
Just found out, that when you save in space, quit and then reload, you're at the space station automatically.
In the end, that's just as good as warping ;-)
thanks for your fast response anyway! Feel huged!
