do the places you get things from replentish or new ones appear? its why i quit playing a long time ago and ondered if it had been implemented yet.

The resources do not replenish over time, once a resource spot runs out, you have to look for another one, you'll have to buy a new region with that resource.
If you don't want the resources running out, I recommend this mod:
