It sure is a bummer right now. And it can't be easily added in the current system which is why there's no mod doing it.
Like Dany said, a huge rework of rails and roads is coming which will include crossings and new things too.
Are you at least working on the release that will patch this?
Its a good way to do it differently until crossings are implemented.
Never going to happen. They say they've been working on this for 1 year, yet there are no demos, no previews, no discussions not even a dev blog to showcase at least 1 feature that will be coming in their "complete rework update".
This game had potential but for the last year there has been no new content updates at all. I check up on it a few months to see if they did anything new and all I see every patch is memory leak fixes... How many times can you say that you fixed memory leaks...
Choice of game engine may be one, your country being involved in a "special operation" might be another one, and unexpected difficulties in replacing a basic (if not the basic) game mechanic might be yet another one. Not saying any one of these is what's happening here, but any one could, and more besides.
To my imaginary eye, these are just two young guys in their basement, about the right age for military draft, with a basic idea of "let's make a video game" and a toy game engine that makes things look simple. And then a war starts, with all its implications, and people keep moaning about lack of game updates...
Yup, I know, "sad story bro", but even if they just took the money and let that be that, the game has been complete enough for me to get my money's worth out of it. And if they ever get to implement the new road and rail infrastructure, so much the better.
To the devs: I hope you're doing fine, and it'll be done... when it's done.
