Traffic Jam from hell
Through poor design, (I'm still learning this game) I created a mega jam with nothing moving. Unless I'm missing something there is no way to select and delete a vehicle in situ or delete an occupied road, or add a by-pass where vehicles are already stalled.
Is this correct. I only noticed it after an auto save so that was no help.
I was doing so well-- ah well back to the drawing board.

If your cars get stuck, you can click on them and the vehicle details window will open, you can send them to garage there.

Tx for quick response. I tried that but they were unable to move and I didn't notice teleportation occurring. I was not joking when I said I had a mega jam I think something like 90% of my vehicles were stuck. Lesson learned on station placement!

Must say fun is still outweighing frustration--just! But I'm a chilled sort of guy so happy to wait for patches!

They do teleport to the depot you selected, it takes a bit of time, you can see an orange circle showing how long it takes: https://i.imgur.com/JgoZRcy.png

They do go to the garage, the further away they are the longer it takes. If you're playing on 1x speed, it'll probably take close to a minute.

Afraid not I just gave up and shut down--mind you with my skill I'll probably do it again. Love these sorts of games but do tend to mix up the mechanics a bit!

No screenshot but a simple description equating to a catalogue of (my) errors
Single station near a double Sawmill, Lab, 2 chainsaws, producing planks and beams.
Station also on a major supply through rout between 2 towns and had a runaround loop to supply the lab.
Obviously( I now know) trying to supply, wood,planks, beams out of one station was a bad move. Everything jammed up because the run round loop blocked both sides of the road.
Lots of lessons learned as the politicians say.

I haven't managed to do something like that. It seems to be quite hard to cause jams as vehicles at intersections will go through each other if necessary. So to actually get the vehicles to where they can't even do that is... impressive. :)

Thinking back what was probably happening was all the trucks queuing for the station.
In my latest game I had a new one. A truck accident! Big red triangle. Was road laying at the time so probably me again, or maybe it's a random rare event.
Think I need to write up all my idiot errors into a VT 101.

Yes .. if you change a road tile while it is occupied, the vehicle crashes.

You can open the car details, press the icon to send to deport and select "tow to depot".

Please be mindful of necroposting, please avoid it as it can be annoying for most people.

Really wish that this got addressed. I just rage-quit a game after having a traffic jam I couldn't fix at all since you can't add roads or remove tiles or buildings
