Direct output to buyer

long story short, i transportted some ressources via conveyor belts to a warehouse near a store, even placed a transportation node near them. somehow i cant figure out how to het my ressourced to the buyer (wood planks to be precise). checked my logistics window, everything should be flowing as planned, but nothing is getting to the store.

I noticed the same thing, but it was for a different reason I placed a warehouse. Over-saturated the buyer and my trucks were heading back to pickup with cargo. Buyer was close to level up so I placed a warehouse and starting stockpiling, thinking it would pull from it directly once they did, but nope. It sorta makes sense the buyer would not pull from your warehouse though.

Hopefully a dev will chime in on this and explain if it should work or not, or if it's something planned for later.

i think atm the only way to supply a store or any customer is via truckstation or trainstation... the product has to be delivered to those respectively.
The moving of goods between Warehouses and Customers isnt working.... if it supposed to.. which i doubt.... since u cannot attach a conveyor input/output to a Customerbuilding

A warehouse will not directly supply your buyer. It has to be either a train station or truck station if the buyer is in range.

We are aware, what we are getting at is we have a freight station of some kind (truck in my case) set up already and have a warehouse next to it.

Wording was off in my previous post for my case, let me give this another go (going to try to be succinct):
Buyer storage was full, so wasn't accepting anymore. Buyer was close to level up, so I placed a warehouse to stockpile. Buyer leveled up and demand increased, but warehouse was not feeding buyer through freight station, buyer was only getting from trucks.

Line of thinking is that warehouse would feed buyer through freight station, but isn't.

I understand that buyer won't take from the warehouse directly, but there is a freight station there. Either way, I've long since emptied the warehouse and dozed it. I thought I'd experiment, but wasn't sure if it's some bug or working as intended with the setup I had. I'm fine with it either way.

Each business has its own warehouse which implies that it needs products delivered so that it can store it before using it. In other words, you need products delivered to the business.

There is an incoming and outcoming connection between a station and a warehouse but it is only accessed by trucks loading and unloading actions. When truck loads it accepts good from all incoming connections to a station (warehouses, mines, etc). When truck unloads it delivers to all outcoming connections (warehouses, buyers, etc).

To unload goods from that Warehouse that you described to a Station so that they can be sold you can set one truck to load and unload at the same location. It will load from Warehouse and unload into the Buyer and Warehouse. You can also disable outcoming connection to a Warehouse to only unload into Buyer when your goal is to empty the storage.

Hey,
i have the same Problem.
The wood is transported to the sawmill and processed. After processing, it got stocked in a ware houe.
next to the warehouse is a truck station and a buyer. But he is buying nothing !!! :-(

I dont want to bring all goods by Truck or Train. Even when the production and the buyer is in the same town. With Conveyor its way better.
I have my Conveyor line below the city like a subway.
Its aweful to build but works well.

sad that u have to facility Outgoing and ingoing places in order to sell to a buyer but maybe they change it in the future

hey tweek, like archmag described, the only workaround is to order a truck to load AND directey unload your goods, only then it's being sold (at the station you placed near your buyer AND warehouse). visually you will see the truck at the station not moving, and their cargo will be filled-emptied-filled-emptied etc. only downside i probably see, is that he is probably blocking the street so put the station somewhere else

I hope they will fix this issiue soon. A road blocking truck is super annoying.

But it would give so much more space to work an creat, with being able to sell by a assebly line to the Warehouse nexr to the seller.

Becaus i already have had a wood suply to a warehouse next to a seller and truckstation.
no need to buy extra trucks to deliver plank´s.
With the posibillity of producing from warehouse to warehouse and sell direktly out of the warehouse would be great. its a other playstyle
