I've beaten the american campaign and still cant use them, any idea why?

Did it display a message box that you can use cheats now?
If not, are you using the latest game version (1.3), where the cheats have been added? If not, let steam update the game for you.

Also, to enter the cheat code, just start a new game and in the main screen, type it.

I checked my version its 1.3, it didnt display a msg box

But it displayed a box that you solved all the goals for the USA mission? That's weird. I'll look into that but that should not happen.

On the countrie's overview screen of the running game, type NOMORELIMITS

In order to unlock the cheat code, you must first play through the USA scenario and finish all the goals. The game will then tell you that cheat codes are unlocked. If you have done that, you can just type the code, no need to type it in any field.

It does not work now, earlier you could just type it in the first moment you open the game, do you now have to actually finish all the goals?

you dont have to start a new game, just gotta be in the overview screen
