Pride of Nations is back on Steam
Today we are happy to share with you that Pride of Nations is back on Steam. By bringing the game under the flag of the Slitherine Group, we can now offer the Steam version of the game full support. This includes the base game as well as the four expansions.

Set during the 19th Century, Pride of Nations is a strategy game of epic proportions, in which you are tasked with leading your country through the age of modern imperialism. This means that you will have full control over the economy, diplomacy and military in order to make your empire the most powerful and prestigious amongst the great nations that rule the world.

Get the Steam version of Pride of Nations and the DLC here.

Great news,

I was wondering if you had optimized the time between each turn. I bought the game few years ago an it was literally unplayable dure to the time required between each turn (3-5 minutes). I was considering buying the DLC because I think the game has an enormous potential and i way deeper than Victoria II but if the time between each turn is the same, well difficult to buy the DLC...

While there has been some progress in this regard, don't expect a revolution. The truth is that when you press turn, the game has to create and progress the AI moves and results, as well as the economy changes etc. for every country in the world. This takes some time :)
I was looking at the AGEOD forums and there was no news of this, could please direct me on the benefits of this merger? Does this mean all these tiny bugs are fixed such as unit pictures not showing up or some random events descriptions not showing up?

Ageod became part of the Slitherine Group in January 2013.

The version on Steam is the same as available from Ageod so if you have any issues report them and they'll get added to the list of issues. There is ongoing development on PoN but its a long term project and we don't have an ETA for now.
