Pride of Nations Remake Email Campaign

Hello everybody.

I started this campaign on various subreddits recently, and figured I should post here as well. My motivation for this was a post by Pocus, one of the developers, on the AGEOD forums.

Here's the quote:

"I can certainly redo it in Archon (the engine used in Empires). We just need 2000 players lobbying Slitherine that it's a good idea :)"

So by my count, we only need 1,999 more letters to get a sequel to the greatest simulation of Victorian era warfare, along with its wonderful management layer.

Let them know, or don't if you want, either is fine!

While the Steam sales numbers are only known by publishers and Valve, there are estimates, through the publicly available Steam API.

I have read between 6-8000 might have bought this title. With all the discount sales in the past (wasn't there also a Humble Bundle ... um bundle? Or was it one of the recurring Fanatical bundle sales?), the number could be even higher.

If a dev says "2000" players is enough to convince Slitherine to give it a try, that is doable?

The Slitherine Email-Server Spam folder will be full, very soon?

Make a change.org or something like that petition. I'd gladly join if it was more organized in that manner. Plus it requires on change I think 1k signatures to be sent to a company or individual.
