1.03 for Steam?
Does anyone know when the 1.03 patch will be officially supported by steam? Now, when I start the game I have version 1.02. I know I can update the game by copying the folder to another location and applying the patch, but I wonder, when this will be available on steam.

who knows. you should go ask on the forums... its funny that they are all talking about 1.04 being released some time but 1.03 is still not official

On the Paradox forum I have been informed that the people behind the game have been bugging 'Steam-people' for Ages to make it Steam official so I wouldn´t expect to see a change on this. Still sounds strange to me considering how fast updates usually are here ...

Oh, and the 1.03 version is FINAL and OFFICIAL (just not Steam-supported).

Agree, it´s annoying that I should have to install in via Steam, then move it outside and then patch it manually.

If you download from the paradox forum (manually) and still have the game in the Steam directory it should revert back to 1.02 unless I´m mistaken.

To be clear, there is a 1.03 but in order to use it I will have to copy the gamefiles outside of Steam and then patch it.

I didn't download it off the forum. You know how it says "DOWNLOAD" and your version number in the launcher?
It says 1.03 and the latest version is 1.03.
I haven't installed any mods or so. Maybe my game is 1.02 and my launcher is just wrong. I am not sure.

That can happen, but you can easily avoid this problem by disabling automatic patching. After applying the v1.03 patch, follow these instructions:

1. Go to the following Steam menu path:

"Steam Library > Right Click on Darkest Hour > Properties > Updates"

2. Click "Always keep this game up to date"
3. Change to "Do not automatically update this game"
4. Click "Close"
