Any fixes for suicidal AI naval invasions?
I quit playing DH due to the inane suicidal AI invasions. Ruined the game for me.

While the number of provinces is higher, because there are only a few places where you can land they are much easier to defend and AI doesn't know how to deal with that... Arsenal of Democracy has a much competent amphibious landing because you never know where they will come. A simple solution would be to get rid of beaches and just allow a landing anywhere. I get what was the intention there, but the system clearly doesn't work.

Don't put units where you see the beaches and leave your ships sitting in port. the enemy will be able to attack you without committing suicide.

That is no answer. All you are doing is enabling the AI to land. You aren't exactly the sharpest knife in the kitchen are you?

Forgive me, but it's funny for an old guy like me who started playing wargames, -even grand strategy wargames before computers were even a thing, that someone would give up a game because the AI opponent did something stupid. In a FPS or sim I could understand. But my opinion is strongly that 'thinking man' games should be played against other thinking men in order to be rewarding or exciting.

Naval invasions always seems to be a weak point for grand strategy AI.

Try EODAIP mod from Paradox forum. It makes AI slightly more smarter.
Doesn't fix the problem entirely though since the issue is hardcoded.
Suicidal naval invasions are a problem in most PDX games, even in most recent Hoi4.

And please, next time don't insult other people here. It's a friendly community.

I think all Paradox games are like that, they simply dont have good AI dealing with stuffs. Now for the users, just have to learn to do with it. Learn to play better or try to do something differently.
