HOI DH versus HOI4.

I am glad that Steam recently had a sale on HOI DH. It was unbelieveably cheap. but the reason I am happy is that I can enjoy HOI in all its glory and have fun playing it. HOI 4 has become a monster with the ridiculous marketing strategy of Paradox of selling features as an expensive download when they should have been in the original game or issued as a patch. Bye HOI 4!

Welcome to the another refugee from the Hoi4 mess. Also take a look at Hoi3 TfH - way better than Hoi4 and much closer to DH.

That's why I'm not buying Hoi4 for now. Too bad no ones still working on DH as it really needs a graphics facelift.

Hearts of Iron IV i got it last year and tried it a dew days ago and i can safely say its not one tenth as good as darkest hour...its completley over rated and is bland as hell...the only good thing going for it is the map and thats it....i hope the developers of darkest hour look into a graphics facelift as someone has previousily said, if only it had a map live HOI IV it would be untouchable in this genre and having acheivements would be a bonus too along with a continued playthrough from 1914 right upto present day....
