There are some common stuff too, i'd say. First- you havea registration in the DH paradox forum? It's not obligatory, but if you like the game, there is an active community there. To download a mod you don't need a registration though.
Once you've chosen and downloaded a mod, it's usually packed into a single archived folder. You should unzip this folder in the ...\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Darkest Hour A HOI Game\Mods
(in the "Mods" folder in your DH steam installation. There you already have at least two folders: "Darkes Hour Full" and "Darkest Hour Light". Next time you start the launcher, you''ll have as an option also the name of the mod folder next to "DH full", "DH light" and "none").
Good luck!
Very great response,But do you by any chance installed the "Great Shattering Illusion" mod?
As far as i can see, they're updating to 1.05. But if you want to play it now, you probably run it on 1.04? Noticed somone has also posted fix for some errors. What happened with your installation? (does it download/ start? Errors?)
The mod seems to crash whenever I want to start a game. And yes,I run it with 1.04
