It’s always a good idea to use a perk to complete the puzzle without dying. Then replay it now you know how to do it. And get your 4 stars.
Generally the Plumbs are harder to get, but there is a high reward. If a puzzle has more than 3 Plumbs you need only to get 3 and the others maybe a decoy!!!
Bomb perks and bombs already in the puzzle are almost the same, except you can place the bomb perk without starting the fuse. Handy in the Mayan level where there is pressure pads to turn off the fire arrows.
Bombs will blow-up the goal, carrots, clocks and other bombs; they will also blow Tooki out of the map so watch out for chain reactions. They do not blow up the fruit though.
Often your path will be blocked by a clock and you will need to blow it out of the way. Hint’ Hint’ number 12.

You get a free bomb perk for blowing up 10 goals, and sometimes in the Easter eggs. The Easter eggs give a perk at random, could be a super rewind, extra life, gold clock, or bomb.
You also get a free gold clock perk for scoring 10 of them.
Not sure why I was under the impression that perk-bombs behaved differently in their destructive capacity. I must have observed something incorrectly / impatiently.
