Game Crashing - Approaching the Alliance Base after lander crashes

Hey folks,

Is anybody else running into this? I got out of the city, found the rover, and went out to the lander as it crashed. When I'm supposed to go make contact with the Alliance Base, the game stutters, freezes and crashes every time it starts to load the beginning to that section - I've run in compatibility mode, as an administrator, changed graphics settings, everything. At this point I can't progress at all in the game. Has anyone found fixes for this?

Please provide them with your DxDiag file as well as a log file and, if possible, a screenshot of the crash error. Here's how you can obtain the DxDiag file:

1. Press the Windows key + R on your keyboard to open the Run dialog box.
   
2. Type dxdiag and press Enter.
   
3. Click on the Save All Information button.
   
4. Save the file to your desktop or another easily accessible location.
   
5. Attach the saved DxDiag file to your email when contacting our support team.

Here are the steps to get the log file:

1. After the issue happens press Ctrl + C
   
2. Minimize the game
   
3. Open Notepad
   
4. Press Ctrl + V
   
5. Save the file

exact same problem. After inspecting the broken lander , i cannot progress to the Alliance base; it keeps craahing and stuttering. please fix this. Im playing on ROG Ally

same. I either approach the base and it crashes, or crashes instantly after I download the chapter, I just cannot progress further...

I have the same problem. I noticed that as long as I don't look towards the base, the game works fine. Immediately when I try to go there - it crashes.

I had the same issue, but after adding some RAM to my PC I was able to continue. (Probably having 8 RAM isn't enough for this game)
