Don't rely on your player base to be your game testers. I know the internet exists and you can easily patch a game. But how corrupt of a system is that. Playing the numbers, how many get a terrible product vs how many future purchases equals how many customers we can screw over. Weak sauce. It's like the auto industry in the early 2000's, who cares ship a terrible product we are making money. Now look at all the layoffs game studios are making. Gamers would rather play a decades old game than take a chance on any new release.
End of rant for the day :)
No one has to replay the game after the patch. You'll load up the save game, and finish the game from there.
The developer has already said they're working on the issue, and getting it fixed, and you're making ridiculous petulant claims about their ignoring it and refusing to help. That makes no sense at all.
This is in no sense a terrible project. It's a vast and intricate game made to an exceptionally high standard, and like almost every game ever, it features a bug that affects a very small number of players. You are behaving like a brat, and you need to stop.
Bug happens and need time to be solve sometime so be patient.
You have 11 differents ending so i'm sure you can wait a little.
My claims are facts. I know the devs are working on it. Even you said "I don't want to wait 2 weeks to finish the game". You're unsatisfied with the product, but because I feel strongly about it and you are okay being ripped off you feel entitled to tell me how to think? Ha, no way. You jumping on me in a steam chat forum is just as petulant and ridiculous as me voicing my frustrations with the game here. Neither of us are going to accomplish anything by doing so.
If the high standard you speak of is to release a game with an incomplete ending then no wonder you are offended. "Everyone deserves a medal guys, thanks for showing up!"
You are behaving like a unwanted, unwarranted censor, and you need to stop.
More of what's wrong with the world... They sold me a product, I am dissatisfied with the product. I am suppose to be happy about that? It's okay for people to post differing opinions. I know how games work, I know how the gaming industry works. You all need to learn how opinions work and be okay with hearing either side. I'm not in the positive review feeds jumping on people for being happy with the game, so why are you in here trying to defend it? If you like the game leave a positive review. If you don't leave a negative review. That's how this works!
You can have whatever opinion you want and you're entitled to say it, but you don't have the right to insult people.
And if you want a game without bugs, don't play it when it's released.
End of this conversation
I thought credits were eventually going to roll or perhaps they were going for like an.. artistic 'future uncertain' ending of you gazing out onto the oncoming cloud.. guess it's indeed just a bug though after sitting there for about 3 minutes
Loved the journey so far, I shall sit here in suspense waiting for a patch to see the finale I suppose.
(Just looked at my last save's timestamp; is that checkpoint before the entire philosophical conversation back on the bridge? Ugh that's a bit annoying though
Please contact our Player Support using the contact form here: https://11bitstudios.com/faq/?filter_game=the-invincible
Please, let them know that you are still experiencing this issue after the hotfix and if possible, please, record your playthrough from the last checkpoint until the window scene where you are stuck. This will help us with figuring out what could have gone wrong. Please, also send a screenshot of the main menu with the version of the game as well.
Please, attach your save file, DXDiag, and the video of the issue to your report. You can find the steps for getting the files in the link provided.
I wish you a great day!
