Guide on getting the good ending
1. Don't call in the lander early, choose to explore the alliance camp first
2. Subdue Rohytra with a syringe you find in the Condor infirmary
3. call in the lander and you wont be affected by the bomb Rohytra would've sent if he was still concious

Yeah cant get the syringe now. There is only one save game.
Ending was pretty disapointing...

Actually you can talk Rohytra out of the idea of nuking everything. I left him with notebook so he can remember whats going on and I think I ended with good ending.

I had no lander however I did talk rohytra out of nuking everything he went to cryosleep and I went to the nest and had a communication similar to Matrix 3 where Neo speaks with AI God. I also think it was a good ending :D

Nice! I also convinced him to not use nukes, but he did not go into cryo and I got onto the lander at the top of Kondor.
What did you do in order to be abe to go to the nest?

The ending itself was a bit underwhelming. I didn't need to subdue Rohytra, I just made him change his mind about nukes. Dunno you could lose your lander though.

The payoff at the end could be better - I'd love to dock to the main ship and talk to Novik, see all the crew members that I rescued, etc.

Tbh I was even expecting it to be a bit more mysterious. Like some kind of AI, discovering some actual alien ruins and finding out more about these aliens...

If you read Lem's works (The Invincible and others), you will find he has a very common theme in most of his works: The Universe is unknowable, unkind to humankind, and ultimately a silent enigma that will never be conquered.

So I'm kinda torn on the good ending. It implies Yasna eventually made some impression upon the flies, and there might be the hope of future contact. But assuming the book is the continuation of the story, it's not how it pans out. So I guess in the end it's all the same?

Yeah I've gotten multiple endings with 2 of them being bugged out completely and I have to say I love the game but the endings suck.

I will watch the other endings on Youtube. Don´t want to try and talk to him for serval minutes again.

so, how to convince Rohytra not to use nukes? Do I need to choose specific options?

It may depend on your previous choices, but I managed to convince him using the nukes will be pointless as it will not eliminate the swarm.

I was convinced Novik was the swarm. Talking to us. Moving us forward. Numerous times he seem to fake emotional responses and all of lying. The way he tried to prevent the attack on the swarm.

The ending was disappointing to me. Yasna should have been quarantined and perhaps never allowed to leave the ship again in her lifetime. There's no guarantee she's not contaminated or her brain hasn't been re-written. A smart society would have isolated and studied the team because you never can tell what they've been programmed to do after having their brains re-written.

Whether I kept the flies or tossed them didn't seem to matter to the ending.
