Yeah for some reason they didn't provide a pre-order. We can buy it only on release day, - which is TODAY. :D I got it for a small discount from a reseller, so excited to play! Downloading as we speak!

Definitely a surprise. I'm waiting for Steam Deck performance reviews before buying, I know it says verified, but I tried to play the Demo during the last next fest and it was literally unplayable - single digit framerate. Really enjoyed it on my PC though, they did a great job with it based on that

they didnt even provide a release date ahead of time right? they just said fk it and launched??? anyway been playing for a bit now and so far its really good, like firewatch but in space!

it runs buttery smooth for me :D playing in native 4k 120hz no problem.

I believe this is happening more and more often. I've got like 60 games in my wish list, and half of them show no release date whatsoever, just "coming soon". Which I think is perfectly fine.

As to why we didn't launch a wider pre-order campaign: we wanted people to buy the game when they are convinced it matches their tastes :)
