Third Person Perspective
As title, please add a third person view mode.

The first person view you've implemented is *EXCEPTIONALLY* nauseating. Besides, this is not a shooter, so there really should be no need for the first person perspective.

Have you tried turning off head bobbing in the game settings? It will help reduce the signs of nausea. Lowering the sensitivity of viewing also helps.

First-person perspective is not exclusive to shooter games, it actually works great in this kind of game as well.

I think we'll have to strongly disagree on this point. In my opinion first person is not appropriate to anything not requiring precise aiming, as with shooters, and even then it's optional and frankly less desirable than a well implemented third person shooter.

This particular title I would argue would've been better served being executed as a modernized point and click adventure game in the style of Telltale rather than a first person shooter without any shooting. It's a bit like trying to force people to play tetris with a usb steering wheel.

Personally, I don't agree with you especially on the highlighted area, but that's okay because everyone has their own opinion, so I'm not going to further discuss it. :OrangeSurprise:

It's obviously going for the first person walking simulator route, which is fine as long as they at least optimize it to eliminate the potentially nauseating iissues (FOV etc). But adding a third person perspective and maybe more camera options would be nice, indeed.

FPP is a more immersive PoV, simple as that. The way they have modeled the inside of the helmet indicates that the game was intentionally designed with FPP in mind. Most likely to give a more claustrophobic feeling, and the sense of danger. The danger that death is merely kept at bay with half an inch of glass.

Obviously that is a tad hyperbolic being that this is a video game, but it stands to be.

Alien isolation is a great example with this and the benefit of using FPP. If alien isolation was TPP, it would have lost the majority of what it set out to accomplish.

Not every game is meant for TPP, this being one of them.
