PS Sorry for making you feel nauseous
Please let us see the inside from the Helmet as Fov-Limiter
I'll add my voice to this. In fact I'm coming to the discussion board to see if others are also suggesting a FOV slider.
I'm really liking the style of the game from what I've seen in the demo and honestly I would only be able to comfortably play with a much larger FOV (with my screen size I'm only confortable at around 90-95 horizontal). I'm looking forward to the full release.
Also headbob is just too much, even when turned OFF in the settings. Camera is still bouncing all over the place with every move, as if the character has her eyeballs on springs inside her helmet. That and FOV gave me a headache and made it very hard to focus on game itself. Maybe tone camera movements down somewhat, please?
The absolute trash that is UE4 motion blur (and i'm fairly positive they left it on default preset) together with extremely heavy color fringing makes it really vomit-inducing experience. On top of narrow FoV it adds up.
I am not sure why game designers/prods always think that fringing blur looks cool, while in fact it is both nauseating and worse looking effect than bokeh or other types of blur effects.
UE4 Motion Blur can look quite cool when set appropriatelly to monitor refresh rate and whe the intensity is tweaked to be a bit lower, you do not even need to make your own motion blur to achieve great looks while retaining the ability to hide 30FPS cap.
