Gah! Monkey Kombat - anyone got a save to skip it?
Would someone be willing to upload a save file after beating JoJo the Monkey in Monkey Kombat? I just don't get it at all, even reading and watching all the walkthroughs. I'm too old to take it all in and it's like trying to learn machine assembly language. Don't even ask me to stick with it, literally my brain atrophies when I try to follow the guides.

In my last save Herman Toothrot's memory has been restored and I've flooded the giant mechanical monkey with lava. The only thing left for me to do is beat JoJo. So I need a save file after this.

I found a save files after beating JoJo but now at the end of the game I have to fight LeChuck and I don't know what to press. Walkthroughs just say to draw each time but I don't even know how to do that!
Hi i just completed Monkey Kombat the other day and have the save file, i could also take a pic of my notes in chart form if u are really desperate.

Monkey kombat is annoying but i think its worth it to do it yourself, the best way is if you are able to screen record and just draw a bunch of times and watch the monkeys starting stance and pause it. i wasnt able to figure out how to screen record it as my screen recorder couldnt capture the play screen. (direct x?)

Other wise how to do it, is to do a small grid like chart i.e AA for anxious ape, DM for drunken monkey, i copied this chart from a walkthru page onto paper and filled it in http://www.gamechronicles.com/guides/emi/mkchart1.jpg he put win1 and win2 i didnt find out the second moves to win.

but if u write down these moves u can see what defeats what.

I have 7 in total as follows ( D is for defeats, and AA is anxious ape, DM is drunken monkey etc). You wont need to do this as i have provided it for u :) below

AA D BB
BB D DM
DM D AA
CC D GG
GG D DM
GG D BB
DM D CC

so the first one reads as Anxious Ape defeats Bobbing Baboon etc,

Now you know what moves defeat what, you must fill out the stances.
Anyways so basically get you pen and paper ready and wait for the monkey into the second position. (he may start with anxious ape but then he moves to a new starting position move. As soon as he goes to his new starting position take your pen immediately to the starting column of the move (lets say drunken monkey) put you pen along the DM column and listen for the monkey noises, as long as your finger or pen is ready at that column u can repeat out loud and write what the monkey does. It better to listen as the words flash onto the screen rather fast. in these columns write down the transitions. The monkey moves from Gimpy Gibbon to Bobbin Baboon he may say ACK, EEK, OOP, then write AEO into those columns. Once u get a few written down, even if u cant win u may be able to have the move to mimic him into a draw, till you find out the move you were waiting for.

If u find a move that wins a round and the monkey fouls, u can repeat the same move u just done without having to re transition by saying either ACK ACK ACK, or EEK EEK EEK, or OOP, OOP, OOP, or CHEE,CHEE CHEE doesnt matter which, each will repeat the current stance. it may take 45 mins to 1 hour to fill the chart and then u can take on Jo Jo Junior. Even tho Jo Jo Junior may seem to have more bananas when u eventually fight him, he will make a foul near the last 1 or 2 bananas allowing you to beat him. Hope this helps!!

I strongly recommend everybody to try and solve this great puzzle (personal favorite of the game) without any help.

However, for the rest of you, and In addition to what realizationman2003 said, especially about preserving the same move, these are all the hints that anyone needs to know to win in a Monkey Combat:

One attack beats the other:

Drunken Monkey > Gimpy Gibbon
Gimpy Gibbon > Charging Chimp
Charging Chimp > Anxious Ape
Bobbing Baboon > Gimpy Gibbon
Anxious Ape > Drunken Monkey
Charging Chimp > Drunken Monkey
Anxious Ape > Bobbing Baboon
Gimpy Gibbon > Anxious Ape
Drunken Monkey > Bobbing Baboon

Now that you know that, you need to know also that there are limitations in transition from one attacking move to another. Furthermore, you have to do specific sounds in order to transit from one to another. The same sounds always work and opposite, which means from the latter attacking move to the first one.

So, here we go:

Chee - Oop - Ack = From Gimpy Gibbon to Anxious Ape
Ack - Oop - Eek = From Bobbing Baboon to Anxious Ape
Eek - Oop - Chee = From Charging Chimp to Drunken Monkey
Ack - Chee - Oop = From Drunken Monkey to Gimpy Gibbon
Oop - Ack - Eek = From Gimpy Gibbon to Charging Chimp
Ack - Oop - Eek = From Anxious Ape to Bobbing Baboon
Oop - Chee - Eek = From Drunken Monkey to Bobbing Baboon
Eek - Oop - Chee = From Charging Chimp to Drunken Monkey
Chee - Oop - Ack = From Gimpy Gibbon to Anxious Ape
Ack - Eek - Oop = From Drunken Monkey to Anxious Ape
Oop - Chee - Ack = From Charging Chimp to Bobbing Baboon
Ack - Oop - Chee = From Gimpy Gibbon to Bobbing Baboon

Remember when Jojo told you about the "Monkey see, Monkey do" strategy? It's the littlest details that often hold the biggest clues
