Why won't it work on Windows 10

Stupid question I know. But i downloaded a EMI launcher and it still didn't play. The game loads through the beginning cutscene and then when it gets to the prompts to look around, I just have no cursor. What should I do

It is played without a cursor.
Arrow keys and Page Up & Page Down to scroll through multiple options. I opens the inventor, U is Use, P is Pick up, Enter is whatever option Guybrush usually has (look at).
You can check it in the Setting menu, press F1 so the menu comes up.

The game was also developed/designed for PS2, that's why it couldn't have actual point & click mechanics.

I was going to say just use the Steam Data of EMI with ResidualVM, but then I noticed the merger going on right now with ScummVM. When the merge is complete and new version of ScummVM releases, use that with Steam. You can rename the exe so that Steam records your play time, if you care about that.

There is no cursor in this game... It's best to play with a controller.
