This game needs a proper remaster!
Call to the voodoo-greedy of developers! Please do remaster for this master piece.
Sorry for my pirite english, man.
Lol, right we want full HD :)
Now we only have to use the boring ScummVM menus and the original menus were beautiful and i miss them(a book were you turn the pages) so i think its a bit sad........ and a bit lazy of Lucasarts to only use ScummVM and do absolutley nothing else.........
I think you do not entirely understand what we're asking for.
The Curse of Monkey Island is a game from back in 1997 ! you could argue
that it looks amazing but that not even subjective for the Remaster standards
we've seen in MI1 and 2 and DOTT and FULL THROTTLE etc. If you
still stand by your point then you're being Ignorant or just foolish.
You have to understand, die hard fans want a Remastered edition of their
favorite games, I've bought COMI back in 1997 on cd and played it ever since,
you might as well be a kid from 2005 who like to dig into old stuff which
is ofcourse a good thing BLESS you but many pc gamers of my age (38)
love to see Remasters done well ,to once again feel the game like
playing it for the first time!
And I have bought ALOT of point & click adventures last years especially the
Remasters etc. Just look at how many positive reviews they get !
people buying them full price.
So that's why I am wishfull thinking ;) and hope for Indiana Jones, MI3 the Dig and
many more Lucas Arts Remasters
Ron
Aaaactually, Disney didn't kill LucasArts. Darth Vader did.
Specifically, they saw the popularity of the Prequel Trilogies after Phantom Menace and cut out the Adventure Games division in order to focus all of their resources on Star Wars titles (and maaaaaybe a few fringe others). This killed projects like Full Throttle: Hell On Wheels and others that were mid-development.
Many good coders of the original games got fed up and left. Anakin "Yoko Ono" Skywalker had successfully broken up the Beatles.
Then, after the merger, yeah - Disney finished off the rest of what remained.
More people that feel like me, hooraaaaaay!!!
Yeah right, I still remember the first time I played this. from cd haha, and you had to keep the cd in the drive like whoa :S
