Update to SCUM 2.1.2 for TCMI
while trying to improve the graphics i thought it might be good to upgrade the scumvm contained in the game to the latest 2.1.2. It is quite easy on Mac (I assume is similar in Win/Linux)

0) quit Steam
1) locate the game downloaded by Steam (depends on your OS) and make a backup copy (just in case).
2) download the latest Scumm.
3) replace in the game directory all the component with the same name with the one coming from he latest scumm distribution (e.g. scummvm). If necessary you will have to move the files all to the same directory.
4) restart Steam and TCMI. If it does not work you did something wrong. check again all files
5) press F1 and check the scumm version is now 2.1.2

Hope it helps

You won't gain much from that, you are better of using 2.0.0 with xBRZ to improve the graphics:

Aren't you mister possitive. Of course this won't turn a decade old game into 4K. But at least it will look nice enough to play it again.

I know exactly what you are saying. You are trying to update the old rubbish launcher that steam is trying to use for ScummVM when the new one is way better :)
