Normal or Mega Monkey Mode?

When playing The Curse of Monkey Island, do you play it on Normal Mode or Mega Monkey Mode?

Mega monkey. Normal is not very challenging.

However don't feel ashamed using a guide to help you, Money Island is a serie with some really hard puzzles or strange uses for objects (rubber chicken, I'm looking at you)

Once you know all the puzzle solutions, it makes no difference.

mega monkey, I feel that normal has skipped a good bit of dialog and fun out of the game, plus it sorta confuses you if you don't know how to use the items as in normal they finish alot of the puzzles for you, skipping a big part of the fun of the game

Definatly going for the mega monkey, playing through normal it feels like you miss out on 75% of the game

...I remember my brother yelling at me for accidentaly starting a new game in Mega Monkey mode.

Regular isn't far off Monkey lite from the OG version of Monkey Island 2.

Normal Mode in Monkey Island 3 is there for those who want to enjoy the story while Mega Monkey Mode is there for those who want a challenge.

Mega, normal was for reviewers who wanted an interactive story, not a game.
