EDIT: Man, that was four years ago already? Time flies...
Yes, but it's just an added bonus to gain steam achievements for those of us that have already played through the game a dozen times with both the original CD and ScummVM. Seems like its just Disney trying to make quick cash on a classic Lucas game for those that just must have it in their Steam library. What would be the point of buying it otherwise? It would also be nice to have cards as well. Neither of these things will happen.
Then why wouldn't I just go play it through ScummVM? The question is what's the point of purchasing it on Steam? There are plenty of P & C games with achievements.
Same as purchasing any game from any store.
I don't generally go to a store to purchase something I already have.
This is true, but those who have been waiting for this for years to be released on Steam have been living under a rock quite frankly.
