Help with Combat
Can anyone help me with how to actually get through this game? I'm in chapter 2 and stuck in a fight section. I can take down all the little demons just fine and end on a finisher to get full health. But I can't take down the big boys. I've tried staying on one side and triggering one at a time, I can take down one this way but not both. I've tried bow and spear, not sure which is better at this point. Or am I stuck waiting for an update with difficulty settings so I can lower it to actually play the game?

Also using keyboard and mouse. And yes it took me 2 hours in to realise the direction you click is where you attack, but this info hasn't yet helped. I thought the attack was locked to demons, but it's not and that's why half my stuff misses.

I'm having trouble too. WHat is the face monolith in the middle do. It dings every once in a while and you can press "E" but I don't know what it does.

It gives you a bonus, although I wasn't 100% on what that bonus was.

"E" is for finisher move. Whenever you perform a finisher move, you will gain some extra health. Make sure to use it if opportunity arrives, will make your life a lot more easier during fights with demons.

That's when killing the demons, there is also a stone monolith face kinda thing that gives you a bonus when you stabbed enough demon. I think the demons may use it aswell, but again not 100% sure as the instructions when it was introduced wen't clear.

Oh that one. You are talking about Kali's shrine. Kali's shrine grants you the power orb (yellow/orange) orb through which you can use the power/ultimate move. Power/ultimate move can be performed by pressing "Q" (I think it was Q) button. 1 Power/ultimate move consumes 1 power orb. You can have maximum 5/6 powers orbs at a time.
Just recharge the shrine by attacking the enemies and when it's get fully charged, grab your power orb by pressing "E" and then "Q' and boom. Enjoy the suffering of demons.
You can recharge the shrine multiple times. You can also use the shrine for performing wall running attacks.

So that's what it does!!! Thank you so much, I was so confused by why sometimes the power move worked and sometimes it didn't!

"Update with difficulty settings"
yes please. the story seems really interesting but some sections of the game are unreasonably challenging.

Good to know i'm not the only one stuck there. They attack, move and dodge around in one go, while i have to stand still to attack, can't attack on a dodge and have to dodge all the time because the projectiles just keep coming. Didn't think this was a bullethell game.

Update: Still stuck even when I turn on the new easy mode :/
Honestly I think the problem is only getting health when I do a finisher and not just from kills. So I have to try not to damage them too much because if I kill them too quick I don't get any health back. At least for easy mode (There is no story mode, easy mode is definitely not it) if you got health for every kill I may be able to finish the game. Easy mode should make the game easy to play.

If you equip the bow, run up a wall and push (Y on x box controller) you will fire a ring of arrows when you hit the ground. Spamming this makes a lot of fights easy.

You are though going to need to master constant dodging while getting shots in to take down the final boss.

On PC, only columns no walls which I keep missing but I'll try! I feel like there are a lot of combos but there's no guidebook as it were if you put the game down for a while to rmind you of the combos you've learnt.

Does not help there. They're attacking and hitting me off camera. There are just too many of them spamming long range attacks, don't know what, coloured balls falling from the sky. There must be something I've missed about combat, I simply refuse to believe the game is that bad/annoying. (XBOX) :shockedd:

Honestly in some fight there seems to be way too much stuff going on. 90 % of the time you try to evade and with the rest of the time you try to run up a wall or pillar to do these attack.

Or you stay way out of range and use the bow. After liking it at first itz now fells like an overkill in every fight episode.
