I was pretty happy with the game graphics minus the slow texture loading and the low res parts on armour.

The screenshots on the store page look infinitely better than any screenshot a owner of the game can take.

I was looking at it again. From what I see the screenshots are either from cutscenes or with musou activated? That would explain things.

This is a cutscene. BUT NOT ON 4K. It's 2560x1440 and yet it looks better than the other one infront of the ocean.

My guess? The game couldn't handle better lighting and depth of field so they scrapped it. It already chugs during huge battles, imagine how much worse it might be. That said I really don't care about graphics. My only issue is if the game has poor performance, which this still does for many people.

I don't know, it looks good to me. I have my graphics turned up to high (textures at least) everything else on mid and it looks very similar to previous games except this game is open world.

edit: just checked, graphics detail and texture quality are both high, everything else is medium and all on/off options are on. I'm getting 60 fps almost all the time with that setup.

It's Koei, it's a toss up. However they have a season pass for this, and they're going to /have/ to if they want people to buy that and what comes with it.

First of all this is the PC version which can lead to a few reasons why the game doesn't look as good as it does in the picture.

It's more likely the computer specs.
