WTF is wrong with the controller?

Let me prefece this by saying that my controller works perfectly on any other game with controller support. I have litterally gone through everything i can think of to fix the problem with the rotating camera problem in the game but i can't figure it out.

I'm using a PowerA Xbox 360 Tournament controller. I have never had to do anything but plug it in and go. I turned the rotation rate and sensitivity to absolute zero in the game menu and it still rotates like crazy and it is extremely sensitive.

This is not full controller support.

I think that at least part of the problem is the calculation of the deadzone in game. you can't just have it 0x0.. you gotta have a little give outside that little box, thats why it's so sensitive. there is no scale going on.. its just direct on or off.

If you can't fix the controller problem would you at least put on some keyboard tool tips so that we know how to play with keyboard and mouse?? I mean... it's terrible... i can't even play the game... im really glad you put out the trial so i didn't purchase this BROKE AF game.

This game doesnt have proper controller support, it just emulates it, to fix rotating camera you need to adjust stick dead zones in steam controller settings via steam client, not in game.

that helped really... not completely better but it helped a lot... they really need to fix this.

Also maybe try the in-game key setting option. I had a similar problem, I restored the key settings to default and that fixed it.

This actually changed at some point, and sage had to tell me about it, I had no idea lol. We can turn the steam overlay off completely and the controller works fine without it now. I tested it several weeks ago, it's nice. PS- I'm saying this not just to say "it works" but to say "try turning off the steam overlay to see if that helps". lol >_<

He just haa a lame controller. Most people have issues with xbox or ps4 for koei games.

Others like logitech work great. But hey he aak for help, give no info. So he juzt a troll crying for attention.

hey buddy... why don't you take your condescension somewhere else... no one asked for your opinion. my controller works fine on any other game... as if somehow logitech is superior in controllers pfft. as if.

Steam->settings->controller->general-> disable everything. Don't use big picture mode.

Try to use USB 2.0 ports and don't set polling cycle to 1000...

If you install any wierd 3rd software for controller like x360ce, or whatever given with your product, uninstall them. Since you are already using a fake x360 controller so it should use the native HiD x360 driver regardless...

Then configure/calibrate controller in windows OS-> device and printers.

I don't have any 3rd party drivers, just whatever it installed when i plugged it in the first time. As i said, i don't have problems with any other game, just this one... idk what the issue is anymore...

yes... because my controller working on every other game i have installed means that the controller is the problem and not the game... makes total sense... it can't be that the game devs failed to create compatability for licensed controllers.
