Persuading the Qiang Troops to Defect

For the Battle of Mt Tielong segment (I'm playing on the Jin side), there's a mission where you have to persuade King Midang to defect from Shu. anyone know what the conversation combination is? so far all i did is make him fight me instead of defecting..

EDIT: solution found. instructions below. TY for polnyanski for the help. i have confirmed these steps as working.

1) Talk to Chen Tai in Guo Huai's camp (Duangu Eastern Camp) to trigger his fake defection
2) kill Ehe and Shaoge near Duangu Eastern Camp
3) Approach King Midang and pick the following conversation choices: 2-2-1-2-1
4) King Midang will defect.

it seems you can trigger Chen Tai to fake a surrender in Guo Huai's camp to "help" you but honestly i coulnd't find any way for it to help me at this point...

When you activate the mission, there's 2 subordinate of king midang near you, chen tai, and guan hai, defeat them first. Then you choose the most cocky and threatening option to make him defect.

eh? i don't see Guan Hai, and Chen Tai is invincible (no HP bar)

Sorry, i mean Guo Huai, not Guan Hai.
As for Chen Tai, speak to him so he will go into King Midang Location
To be exact, these 2 officer of King Midang appear near the location when you talked with Guo Huai to activate the mission. There's supposed to be 2 red dot appear east of your position. Defeat them to scare King Midang so he will submit in the next step.

For the dialogue tree, choose in order : 2, 2, 1, 2, 1

i already figured out which dialogues are the intimidating ones but last i played Guo Huai is still in his prev camp, and Chen Tai's invincible and non-interactable

think i got bugged. damn.

I think as long as you beat shaoge and co, you can proceed with the quest

yes Chen Tai moves to where King Midang is.

seems i found out where i went wrong: i didn't kill Ehe and Shaoge.

So after all the work contributed by you guys here's the solution:

1) Talk to Chen Tai in Guo Huai's camp (Duangu Eastern Camp) to trigger his fake defection
2) kill Ehe and Shaoge near Duangu Eastern Camp

turns out you didn't need to kill Chen Tai or Guo Huai since you couldn't: Guo Huai will not defect, and Chen Tai is invincible. the ones you need to kill are Ehe and Shaoge

hmm thats weird the wiki states all 1 <_< let me see
it is important that you kill Ehe and Shaoge it doesnt matter if Chen Tai doesnt reach Midang, he's just there as an insurance if the negotiations failed and your PC isnt OP enough to oneshot everything
either way answering all 1 will still suceed as long as you sway him by killing his 2 officers

was not aware that the japanese made a wiki guide for DW9.

anyway, that's my conclusion, and it's already tested multiple times to work, so shouldn't worry about it.
