Painting the map all blue.
Why yes, I am aware that doing the topic above is quite tedious, long, and ultimately means nothing as it resets and all that... however, I do wish to ask those who have been playing, any instance where you've gone so crazy you've decided to take all the points (minus the critical/story point) and paint the map blue?

And I mean *all* the points, not just the red ones, but even those orange ones that you usually see in the northwest or the south in the earlier chapters. Which chapter/part did you do it on? Is there a part/chapter that you thought about doing? Are you coo-coo for Cocoa Puffs? Er, I mean, are you that crazy to do it?

I don't have any particular example, but I do find it kinda silly when you're doing a part where you've got the 'gotta escape enormous odds/can't win' scenario and it's like "I MUST ESCAPE ALL THE BLUE DOTS SAVE ME!" *Ahem* So yeah.

I'd only do that when you're on the last mission of Jin, that way when you complete the map, it makes sense, as Shu is taken over at the end of the game.

I did it once between one of Cao Cao's missions. Forgot exactly which. I just hoped it would carry on for the rest of the game, but as soon as I beat the mission and figured it all got reset, I facepalmed so hard I'm lucky I didn't rip my head off.

Same with those random soldier missions. I thought they would all go away. But nooo, they keep going and going and going and going...

Nah, I gave up upon taking enemy checkpoints. Two reasons for it: Firstly, the map turns nearby points anyway when you finish a main mission subgoal in the area. And secondly, taking points by day is pure [insert a random painful and slow disease here] since all the time some stupid assault or relief captain will arrive at the base and postpone the time of you being done.

I tried this in the Yellow Turban Arc. first Arc., but the problem was... It refused to allow me to venture away from my missions... @_@

I basically did, every mission, including ones on the way to those missions...

But as I progressed... I realized that the guy I was suppose to protect, was near death...

& with no more HP Restore potions, & like maybe 1HP of my Health left...

I charged into the Castle of the guy I was suppose to kill... I charged all the way to his door,

Busted, through... Destroyed all those Gassy things in the Room, & busted him a new one...

All with 1HP, lOl...

Winning the Story Arc. with near death expereince, @_@

I was that guy from the Orange Clan, whatever his name was... He was the first one out of the

clan to be an open slot to use...

PS: Doing all that with 1HP, was not easy... @_@

Pushing the blue around makes each thing easier as there are more allied soldiers helping make targets for the enemy to hit at instead of you. Each chapter is its own self contained open world so you can farm currencies. My favorite way is to be sneaky and headshot a place empty for the kicks. Bow OP AF.

after liu bei beat my ass in xianye, my cao cao went on a rampage. the end result was a blue china with 100% of the map uncovered (including the water) and all spots found. had around 10,000 kills by the time i was done. his ambition could not be stopped.
