HOW do fighters get cut while boxing/mma ?
Sorry for the very irrelevant topic but it's puzzling. I can understand a bloody nose, but how the hell do boxers actually get CUTS all over their face from boxing? I mean, there's nothing sharp or protruding. ♥♥♥♥ is driving me CRAZY and I can't find any answers. HELP ME CSGO COMMUNITY

Yeah, but the outside of your lips can be cut by your teeth, which are sharp, but bones on the rest of the face are internal, therefore if your skin gets pressed against the bone underneath it, how do you bleed on the OUTSIDE?

Lacerations, not cuts.

I have been boxing for almost 4 years now and its a pretty simple concept: Get hit hard enough and ur skin splits open.

I guess soft tissue getting hit repeatedly in the same spot against the hard bone of the skull damages it to the point where it opens up.
